BSIO accelerator for emerging projects 2022

The BSIO Accelerator aims to support young scientists working in the field of cancer research to develop and implement new project ideas.

We congratulate the awardees Kimberly Hartl and Yuen Lam Dora Ng.

Both convinced with their outstanding follow-up projects emerged from their initial PhD projects.

Yuen Lam Dora Ng works in the lab of Prof. Jan Krönke and investigates non-genetic resistance mechanisms for the thalidomide analog lenalidomide.

Kimberly Hartl works in the lab of Prof. Michael Sigal and investigates the role of p53 in the context of epithelial regeneration and carcinogenesis in the colon.
